These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Steer application (the "Application") by (a) employees and contractors of the operating organisation (the "Operator") who use the internal administration interface, and (b) carriers, suppliers and their personnel who use the partner portal (together, "you"). By signing in, or by ticking the acceptance box on the partner portal, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Accounts are created by the Operator. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, for every action taken under your account, and for telling the Operator promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. The Operator may suspend or close an account at any time for security reasons or breach of these Terms.
You agree to use the Application only for the legitimate business purposes of the Operator or of the partner organisation you represent. You must not: attempt to access data you are not authorised to see; probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Application; interfere with its operation; scrape or bulk-export data other than through the reports the Application provides; or upload content that is unlawful, infringing or malicious.
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Partner organisations that enter personal information about their personnel into the portal confirm they are authorised to do so.
The Application, its design, code, documentation and trademarks belong to the Operator or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Application for the purposes above, and no other right. Data you enter remains yours or your organisation's; you grant the Operator a licence to host, process and display it to operate the Application.
The Operator strives to keep the Application available but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in the Application when possible. The Operator may modify or discontinue features at any time.
The Application is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator disclaims all warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profit or loss of data arising from use of the Application. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Québec law, including for bodily or moral injury or for gross or intentional fault.
Your right to use the Application ends when your employment or business relationship with the Operator ends, or when the Operator closes your account. Sections 3 (Confidentiality), 5, 7 and 9 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district where the Operator has its head office.
The Operator may update these Terms. The effective date and version appear at the top of this page. Partner-portal users are asked to accept material changes at their next sign-in; continued use by internal users constitutes acceptance.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to the privacy officer identified in the Privacy Policy or to the support address shown in the Application.
